Many of our service projects are focused on literacy issues in our community. Our organization provides books, hosts essay contests and establishes scholarships to address educational needs in our community.
Helping children read is my life's work. Our project "Parents as Reading Partners" is my favorite one because it promotes bedtime reading, which reminds me of my time with my grandchildren. Bedtime reading improves literacy skills which leads to long term school success.
